one-way optical gate

Product Overview

One-way Optical Gate, which is placed between the internal network and external network, collects data from the external network end and transmits them to the internal network end through a physical one-way optical channel, and there is no physical channel for reverse optical signal transmission from the internal network end to the external network end, which realizes the application requirements of data transmission from low confidential network to high-density network, and also completely ensures that confidential data in the internal network cannot be leaked to the external network in terms of physical hardware. This not only realizes the application requirements of data transmission from low-level network to high-density network, but also completely ensures that the confidential data in the internal network can not be leaked to the external network in terms of physical hardware.

It is mainly used to solve the problem of unidirectional data security transmission between high-security and low-security networks. Its core positioning is to ensure that data can only be transmitted from the source network (usually low security network) to the target network (high security network) through the optical unidirectional transmission characteristics at the hardware level (such as fiber optic unidirectional valves, optical unidirectional diodes, etc.), so as to ensure that the demand for data exchange at the same time to achieve high-strength network isolation and anti-disclosure protection.

Key Features & Functions

Unidirectional File transfer

Active/passive modes, supports FTP/SFTP/SMB/NFS and proprietary protocols, with malware scanning and content filtering.

Unidirectional db sync

For Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, DM, and heterogeneous schemas.

UDP proxy

Unidirectional UDP forwarding with proprietary encapsulation.

Unidirectional Email sync

One‑way email transfer with subject/sender filtering.

Typical Deployment

Typical deployment scenarios of a one-way Optical gateway include:

  • Data transfer from a secure internal network to a less secure external network (e.g., from an ICS/SCADA network to a monitoring center)
  • Preventing inbound data or command flow to ensure absolute isolation
  • Usage in critical infrastructure environments such as power plants, financial systems, or military networks
